Privacy
This site does almost nothing to you. No cookies, no tracking, no analytics. The only information we have is what you choose to type into the free trial form. Here is exactly what happens to it.

The short version
If you just read the site, we learn nothing about you. If you fill in the trial form, the school gets an email with what you wrote so someone can reply. That is the whole system. We do not sell anything to anyone, and we do not put you on a mailing list.
What this site collects on its own
Nothing. There are no cookies, no analytics, no advertising pixels and no third party trackers. The fonts are served from this site rather than from Google, so opening a page does not tell anyone else you were here.
Our host, Vercel, keeps standard server logs to run and protect the site. Those logs can include your IP address and browser, the same as any web server. We do not read them to learn about visitors, and they are not linked to anything you submit.
What the trial form collects
Only these fields, and only because you typed them:
- Your name and email address, so the school can reply.
- Your phone number, if you give it. It is optional.
- Which class you are interested in and who is training (yourself, your child, or both).
- Anything you write in the message box. Please do not put medical details or anything sensitive there. If a health condition matters for training, tell a coach in person.
There is one hidden field used to catch spam bots. It is not about you and it is discarded.
If you are asking on behalf of a child
The form asks whether you are training or your child is. If you pick your child, the only information we receive is still yours: your name, your email, your phone. We do not ask for your child's name, age or anything else, and you should not send it. Enrolment paperwork happens at the school, with you present.
We treat a form that mentions a child as a parent's inquiry, and nothing more.
Why we collect it
One reason: to answer you about training. We do not use it for advertising, we do not profile you, and we do not build a database of people who once thought about trying jiu jitsu.
Who else sees it
Sending an email means other companies handle it on the way. These are the only ones:
- Vercel hosts the site and runs the code that takes your submission.
- Web3Forms and Resend deliver the email itself.
- Google, because the school's inbox is Gmail, the same as if you had emailed it directly.
- The studio that built and maintains this site runs the service that sends the email, so your message is visible in that account for thirty days. The studio also receives a copy of each request while it is looking after the site, so that a broken form gets noticed rather than silently swallowing what you wrote. We are telling you this because a copy going somewhere you were not told about is precisely what we think is wrong.
Some of these companies operate outside Canada, which means your submission may be stored or processed in another country and can be subject to that country's laws. That is true of essentially any email sent to a Gmail address, but you should know it rather than assume it.
Nobody else. We have never sold, rented or traded anyone's information, and we are not going to start.
How long we keep it
Your inquiry lives in the school's email like any other message, and in the studio's inbox as the copy described above. The service that sends it keeps a record for thirty days and then that record ages out on its own. Nobody builds a list out of any of it. If you want your inquiry deleted, ask and it will be deleted in all of those places.
Your rights
Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, and ask us to delete it. You can also withdraw your consent at any time. Ask, and we will do it. There is no form and no fee.
Asking for a trial does not sign you up for marketing. If we ever want to send you something other than a reply, we will ask first.
Keeping it safe
The site is served over an encrypted connection and the form is rate limited against abuse. We are a martial arts school, not a bank: the honest protection here is that we collect very little in the first place.
Who is responsible
Seng's Martial Arts School is responsible for the information described here. Chad Seng is the person accountable for it. Reach him at SengMAF@gmail.com or (519) 324-5307, or at 47 Pearl St East, Kingsville, ON N9Y 1K3.
If you ask us something about your privacy and you are not satisfied with the answer, you have the right to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca. We would rather you told us first and gave us the chance to fix it.
If this changes
If we change what we collect, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. We will not quietly start doing more than this says.
